WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRAFFIC & CONVERSION ADS?
The most frequent problem I see with ads, during my ad audits is that folks are not choosing the right AD TYPE in the Ads Manager.
Many believe TRAFFIC is the option to choose, but a Traffic Ad will not get the results that you want if the goal is to increase an email list (and get more signups to your freebie/lead magnet).
What Ad do you really need to grow an audience?
It’s called a Conversion Ad.
Conversion is defined as a visitor to your website/landing page that provides a name/email address in exchange for something valuable that is free, commonly called a “freebie” or “lead magnet”. A few examples of popular lead magnets include: workshops, eBooks, toolkits, guides, mini courses or challenges.
You won’t get the same results if running a Traffic Ad – that’s why I recommend a Conversion Ad instead!!

#1. What type of Ad do you need to get Leads?
#2. Be sure to setup your ad campaign in the Ads Manager (if you are new to FB Ads, click here).
#3. If you want to increase your email list, I recommend a Conversion Ad.
#4. Traffic Ads will not work for a Lead Generation Ad Campaign.
#5. Conversion Ads are the best way to get leads for your business!
#6. For a Lead Generation Ad Campaign, I recommend a minimum of $10 per day ad spend. If you are running ads on a budget, you can pause your ads anytime!
